Hello friends, family, colleagues, Twitter mutuals, whoever you may be–welcome! Thanks for at least clicking on this link, and hopefully subscribing (for free) to a blog I'll be writing every so often. I've been meaning to launch something like this for a while, but grad school and the impending end of the world got in the way. They're still in the way, but I'm gonna try harder now.

I imagine I'll mostly be sticking to pop-culture stuff–sports, movies, TV, music–along with some short fiction, but I really don't know what will come of this. I may very well end up sending you a review of every Captain Beefheart album. Probably not, but I'm not ruling it out.

If the topics I cover aren't for you, smack the unsubscribe button. It won't hurt my feelings. I do it all the time.
